supreme court justices

I think the 9 justices of the Supreme Court have a lot of impact on American law and Society. If one new justice were to come the whole entire court makeup would change. One vote from any of the 9 justices could change a ruling or one vote could make a state legislator change or write a law. The justices are very powerful and have a lot of say in the way things are run, but its power is limited by the two other branches of government.
